If you are fluent in English, but need to improve your Spanish, or fluent in Spanish, but want to improve your English, the Argentinian Cultural Center invites you to share conversations, languages, cultures and having a Happy Hour.

¿Cómo será la actividad?

En la primera parte, todos interactuamos y conversamos en inglés. Aquellos participantes fluidos en ese idioma actuarán como facilitadores de quienes no lo son, apoyando con las palabras o expresiones que el otro necesite, sugiriendo o indicando maneras adecuadas para comunicarse en inglés. En la segunda parte, invertimos la dinámica y todos conversamos en español.

Importante: No es una clase de idiomas, es un espacio de intercambio en el que cada cual busca aprovechar la oportunidad para practicar conversación en la lengua en la cual desea ganar fluidez, y está dispuesto a ayudar a otro a conversar en el idioma que domina.

The meeting will be:

First part: English conversation. We all speak and interact in English. Those who are fluent in English will facilitate the conversations with the non-fluent speakers. Second part: Spanish conversation. The dynamic will be reversed and we all speak and interact in Spanish.

This is NOT a Language class. It’s an exchange space, where everybody will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to practice conversing in the language they want to improve, and help others do the same.
